Terms of Service

Astrohacker Inc. (“Astrohacker,” “we,” “us,” or “the Company”) provides websites, software, and related services under the Astrohacker name (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Astrohacker offers product websites, account registration, documentation, and software downloads related to Astrohacker products (including, where available, Astrohacker TermSurf and related tools). Features may change over time. Some capabilities described on our marketing materials may be planned or experimental and are not guaranteed to be available.

2. Acceptance of Terms

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Continued use after we update these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Accounts and Credentials

You may create an account using a handle on our product domain (for example, name@astrohacker.com). That handle is an Astrohacker sign-in identity. It is not a mailbox for receiving ordinary email unless we explicitly offer that feature.

You are responsible for:

  • Choosing a strong password and keeping it secret
  • All activity under your account
  • Safeguarding any cryptographic keys derived from your password

If you lose your password, we cannot recover encrypted material protected by it. Astrohacker does not store your password in plaintext and cannot reset client-side encryption keys for you.

We may reclaim or reassign handles that violate these Terms, infringe rights, or are needed for brand or security reasons.

4. Proof of Work

Parts of the Service use proof-of-work (PoW) on your device to reduce spam and abuse. By using those features, you agree that your device may perform those computations. Submitting invalid or abusive PoW may result in denial of service or account action.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or malware
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse others
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users
  • Violate applicable law

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

6. Prototype and Early Software

Parts of the Service may be prototype, beta, or early-release software. You may experience bugs, downtime, or data loss. Use at your own risk. Do not rely on the Service as your only copy of important data.

7. Intellectual Property

Astrohacker names, logos, and product marks are trademarks of Astrohacker Inc. or its affiliates. Software and content we publish are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Service as offered; you do not acquire ownership of our marks or software except for rights we expressly grant (for example, under an open-source license for specific components).

8. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may link to or integrate third-party sites and software. Those services have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.

9. No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or that data will be preserved.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASTROHACKER INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Astrohacker Inc. against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this site. The “Effective date” will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction apply.
