Computcha

A proof-of-GPU demo for a web browser.

The historical homepage offered a demo from the browser. Computcha and the later Compucha mining proposal had different names, domains, and interfaces.

An April 2024 capture preserves the branded homepage and its link to the demo.

How it works

  • Offer a browser GPU demo

The archived homepage described proof of GPU in a browser and linked to a demo at /demo. The logo, site name, and link distinguish Computcha from the later Compucha mining proposal.

  • Keep the demo distinct from verification

The captured index proves there was an invitation to run a demo. It does not include a benchmark, proof format, or successful server validation. Those would need evidence from the demo itself.

Trace what a visitor could actually verify

A visitor could open the Computcha homepage and follow its demo link. To establish the behavior of proof generation, an engineer would also need the demo response and an acceptance test for that proof. The captured index alone supports the first step.
